Yogurt Testimonies

Hello Grace,
I just want to tell you this.  My beloved husband is very ill with lung cancer.  We brought him home after 9 days in the hospital.  He doesn’t want to eat much of anything.  The one thing I gave him that he said, “Oh, yes” to is your yogurt.  I am very grateful for it.

Hello!
I just wanted to say hello and thank you for your wonderful Golden Guernsey Chocolate Milk. I'm working on loosing weight and your Chocolate Milk is so rich and satisfying I can take two drinks of it and quite the chocolate/sweet craving rather then eating a whole candy bar; saving me lots of calories and fat and adding more protein to my diet. Thank you so much for the work you all are doing and keep it up! Every day people like me are finding awesome LOCAL products to enjoy and support.

Thank you!

Hello Grace Harbor Farms,

I just want to thank for producing a product that my son and I can eat.  Having milk and yogurt made from Guernsey cows is something we can tolerate.

When I found your chocolate milk in the Food Co-Op several weeks ago, I almost cried.  To be able to set down and enjoy a glass of milk was something I missed more than I realized.

Thank you for a wonderful product.

Subject: Vanilla Yogurt

I first discovered your vanilla yogurt at our local Haggens Grocery store about 3 weeks ago.  Since then I have been stocking up on the product to the tune of 4 to 5  large containers per week – terrified that the store might suddenly stop carrying it!

I must point out that I am a rather picky yogurt eater.  The best yogurt I had ever tasted was whenever I would visiting France or Switzerland.  This is no longer true.  Your Grace Harbor Farms yogurt is, hands down, the creamiest, most delicious, most delectably unique yogurt I have ever had in my life … THANK YOU!

With gratitude and compliments,

Marita Petersen

P.S. –
PLEASE continue to supply the Haggens store in Mount Vernon with your wonderful product.  As a matter of fact – given the comments other people, as well as myself, have been making – I have no doubt that   your yogurt would sell out in no time if you were to stock other store shelves in the Mount Vernon area.

Dear Grace Harbor Farms,

Yoghurt made by mixing top quality full fat milk with live yoghurt cultures is what I grew up on in rural England.  Like bread made from flour, water, yeast and nothing else I thought it was just too much to ask for real down to earth yoghurt.  I've been living in the US now for seven years and have spent seven years looking for your product.  You may or may not receive many notes from customers, I don't know, but I want to thank you for doing yoghurt right.  That the milk is from Guernsey cows is a real bonus, my favorite milk as a boy was from Jerseys and straight out the bulk tank for that matter.

Okay, I can honestly say I've NEVER done this...I've never written to someone and told them how much I love their product. BUT, that's all about to change! I just had to put down my container of Vanilla Yogurt (not an easy task, mind you) and tell you how absolutely marvelous it is! I've been buying it for a few months now at Central Market in Shoreline and it's just so perfectly creamy and flavorful. Some people talk about eating whole pizzas or whole gallons of ice cream in one sitting. Well, I have to admit, yes, I ate the whole container of yogurt...ALL BY MYSELF! I even went so far as to run my finger around the inside of the - almost empty - container and lick every last drop off my finger. I just thought you should know.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

Hi there,
I just wanted to take a minute to tell you how much I love your vanilla milk! It is one of my favorite substances on this earth! I started enjoying it in my lattes and now am discovering new ways to use it. I already loved your yogurt and was excited to find the vanilla milk. I am now going to purchase the lotion for my husband who has a persistent skin issue that I believe your lotion will help. I also greatly appreciated your awesome testimony on the website, I am a Christian too and you are an encouragement! May the Lord bless your farm and your lives!!

I love your yogurt and milk!  This will be my first time trying your lotions/soap.

Thank you for making such great products--I have barely fed my family milk over the past 10 years because it hasn't seemed like a good/healthy thing for us to do.  Your milk really feels nourishing and satisfying and healthy!

Thank you!!

Hi there,

I just wanted to send you a big THANKS! For the amazing product I just purchased today from the Greenwood Market. I'm originally from Bulgaria, and as you may know Bulgaria has a long history with yogurt and its a huge part of our nutrition. My husband just came to the USA 2 months ago for the 1st time, back in Bulgaria he would eat so much yogurt. I told him sadly that yogurt in the USA was not like the one in Bulgaria, most were sweet and a strange texture. I purchased your plain yogurt today and from the 1st spoon i felt like crying from joy, and so did my husband. Your yogurt is perfect, its just like the yogurt we have in Bulgaria, creamy but not too much, tangy and just right :) and I'm so pleased someone finally got it right!!! We will be frequent buyers and let other Bulgarians in our new found treat. Again thank you for the great work!

Sincerely,

Love getting your emails.   Purchased a quart of that chocolate milk the other day at PCC.  I am sorry but it is way too good.  Oh my I could so get addicted to it.  I plan to come up for a visit soon.  It has been too long since my last trip.

Regards,

I cannot tell you how happy I was to find Golden Guernsey milk.  I grew up on a dairy farm where we raised registered Golden Guernsey cows.  We also had prize winning bulls.  We sold to a dairy in Baltimore city that sold only Golden Guernsey milk.  It tastes much, much better than milk from other kinds of cows, such as Holsteins, and we are just so pleased to be able to get it again.

I am also very happy to be able to get it pasteurized (rather than homogenized), because I have never liked drinking it whole, and this way I can skim it for drinking, and then use the cream for cooking. And, of course, it tastes better pasteurized than it does homogenized.

I knew how good the milk would taste, but the yogurt was a huge surprise.  It is unquestionably the best tasting yogurt I have ever eaten. I wish you great success in your brave venture to provide a really high quality product.  I don't know how a customer can help beyond purchasing the product, but if I could, I would.

Hi,
I just wanted to let you know that I tried your yogurt (Honey flavor) two days ago after picking it up at the Marlene's in Federal Way, WA. I don't really understand why I've been eating anything other than your yogurt my entire life. What a waste of the last 23 years! I've already gone back to get more and as I was picking it up, one of the Marlene's employees says, "The honey yogurt is AWESOME." I already knew that, but I'm happy she did, too.

You guys need to advertise some more! This is the best stuff ever! I don't ever want to run out!

Thanks for the yogurt. :)

Hi Tim,
We spoke last year for a story I wrote about raw milk.
I'm writing now to tell you I finally tried your yogurt.
I'm normally partial to thick greek yogurt (full fat) or kefir, but I noticed your stuff in the Ballard Market the other day so I bought some. Wow. That's some yogurt. I drizzle in a tiny bit of maple syrup and it's like dessert. I also stirred in some hot sauce and used it as a topping for taco meat. Again, yum.
It seems so different from the other yogurts out there.
Just wanted to let you know.

I just tried your yogurt for the first time a couple of days ago. It's literally all I can think about! I'm not usually a big fan of dairy products, and imported greek yogurt is the only kind of yogurt I can stand to swallow. My new year's resolution for 2011 was to be more conscientious about the animal products I eat and buy, and whenever possible to purchase them from local farms with sustainable farming methods. Because of this I decided to try your yogurt which I purchased from Town and Country Market. What a beautiful gift! I want it breakfast, lunch, and dinner, I even dream about it in my sleep. The flavor is so delicate and perfect, the texture is so unusually lovely.
I came to your web site to see if I could find out more about your farm and tell you how happy I am - and it turns out so many other people had the same idea! Thank you so much for providing an amazing, delicious, superior product!

January 21, 2011--Email about our Milk
I just tried your Guernsey milk and it is simply outstanding!  I make my own Kefir and thought I would give it a try – but after my taste test it barely made it to the kefir jar!

Thanks for your devotion to this product!

Hello neighbors

I just want you to know that I think you have the best yoghurt on the planet!!  I have had lots of yoghurt in my 67 years and
I think you have the very best yoghurt I've ever tastedl   I am on Weight Watchers and also discovered that your plain yoghurt is only 2 points.
That makes it even more wonderful.

I buy mine at Madison Market.  I am a faithful customer so I hope to purchase a lot of yoghurt over the years.

Hope you are doing well on your farm and Happy Holidays to you and your Guernseys.

Sincerely,
Maxine L

Hello there!
I am an enormous fan of your yogurt. I buy a 16 oz. container of vanilla every week at Madison Market and it is my breakfast every morning (with some granola from Tall Grass Bakery). It is heaven

Hi,
I don't have a car so I rent one from Chilliwack to drive across the line just to replenish my supply of yogurt every few weeks. I didn't know you made anything else so maybe I'll try that too.

The yogurt reminds me of being on the farm as a kid. My Gramma "let" me turn the seperator to take the cream off in the mornings & then we'd have a drink from the well (I got to pump the handle). We'd walk back to the house together with a pail & go in and have oatmeal with fresh milk!. I loved my Gramma.

I have leukemia 55 years later and for the past 5 years have had a lot of stomach problems. I saw Dr. Oz who said to eat yogurt and honey but I was cautious I'm allergic to milk but not this.
My stomach is so much better it's nearly normal.

It's like ice cream to me. I close my eyes & I'm back on the farm with my Gramma & pet cow Brownie.

You've really blessed me!  Thanks so much.

Obviously I'm not the first one to sing the praises of your yogurt, and I'm certain I won't be the last. But I wanted to sing nonetheless, because these days people only complain. They forget to praise, and remind people what a great job they're doing. It's very important for me to support local, so when I saw your yogurt, I had to try it. It's very easy to support local when the product is as good as yours is! I'm the comparison shopper type. Once, while living in London, I tried 8 different kinds of yogurt, all side by side. I haven't done much of that here, because I've been underwhelmed by American yogurts. Yours tastes very European to me - very fresh, creamy and sweet.

I just add a bit of stevia and some berries to the plain yogurt, and I'm off and running. It's so addictive, I try hard to ration it out, but it never really lasts long! Thank you for making such a lovely product, and for being so mindful of how you treat your animals and, in turn, those of us who eat the products from those animals!

A friend recently gave me a pint of your Golden Guernsey Yogurt and I thought it was fabulous.  I've NEVER had yogurt that tasted so good  before and I want more!!  Unfortunately, I live in SeaTac, WA (near the airport).  Is there anyplace near here that sells the yogurt?  Even Whole Foods is quite a drive away from my home.
Thank you

think you should put a warning label on your Guernsey yogurt: WARNING: may cause addiction, because this stuff is delicious.

I've bought two quarts from the Mill Creek Central Market. One quart I passed off as vanilla pudding to dinner guests, but I think I'll be eating all of the 2nd quart on my own.

I just wanted to write to say that your yogurt is the best I've ever had
anywhere in the world.  Thank you for distributing it through Central
Market (Shoreline)!

I was also very happy to find your goat milk.  I have been wanting to
make chevre at home but could only find ultra-pasteurized goat milk,
which wouldn't work very well.  So I'm very happy that yours is only
pasteurized -- my chevre has turned out great.

Keep up the good work!

Just wanted to send a quick note that I love your yogurt! Madison Market recently started carrying it, or I never would have learned about it. Once I bought some, I was sold! Now I don't buy anything else. I love supporting local farms, and am especially excited to find how much better their products are than the more mainstream brands. Good luck getting the word out and getting into more stores throughout the region.

Peace,
